Latin Name: Herba Lophatheri Gracilis

Properties: sweet, bland, cold, slightly bitter

Actions: clears heat, relieves thirst, calms spirit, promotes urination

Medical Indications: heat conditions such as mouth sores and inflamed gums caused by heat, heat in heart and stomach, sleeplessness due to heat irritation, heat in small intestine, painful urination

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy, not to be used in cases of Yang deficiency

Dosage: 6 to 9 grams
