Latin Name: Squama Manitis

Properties: salty, slightly cold, tasteless

Actions: promotes lactation, unblocks menstruation, subdues swellings and expels pus, hastens boils to ripen, stops pain, rids of wind dampness, kills parasites

Medical Indications: initial swellings or pus, amenorrhea, arthralgia, chronic malaria, parasites

Contraindications: not to be used during pregnancy

Dosage: 5 to 10 grams
