Latin Name: Fructus Meliae Toosendan

Properties: bitter, cold, slightly toxic

Actions: stops pain, moves and regulates Qi, kills parasites, promotes urination

Medical Indications: stomach pain, gastric ulcers, diarrhea, mastitis,
inflammation of stomach, gall bladder, and pelvic area, appendicitis, intestinal parasites, fungus of scalp, frost bites

Contraindications: none

Caution: an overdose can be lethal

Dosage: 3 to 9 grams
