Latin Name: Lignum Aquilariae

Properties: acrid, bitter, slightly warm

Actions: moves Qi, relieves pain, warms kidneys

Medical Indications: pain in chest and abdomen, chronic nausea, belching, vomiting, wheezing due to cold, asthma, soreness and weakness of lower back and knees, spermatorrhea, epilepsy, constipation

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of Yin deficiency and Qi deficiency with prolapses

Dosage: 1.5 to 3 grams
