Latin Name: Fructus Amomi Tsaoko

Properties: pungent, warm

Actions: removes dampness from spleen and stomach, dispels phlegm, treats malarial disorders

Medical Indications: stomach pain, vomiting, belching, flatulence, indigestion due to stomach Qi stagnation, malarial disorders

Contraindications: not to be used in cases of Qi or blood deficiency

Dosage: 3 to 6 grams
